Szczecin doesn’t have the coastal beaches along the Baltic like other Polish communities, but it still has a few inland beaches that you can enjoy when the weather is warm and sunny.
The best of the best is out at Glebokie Lake, which is just a short trip from the city. Even though it is close by, you’ll really get a feel of what Polish country life is like and it is a great place to go out on the dock and sunbathe or enjoy a quick swim in the cool, refreshing water.
Unlike other beach areas, fires are allowed on this inland beach. Build a bonfire or join a group who has already done so, but you may wish to keep the fires to the areas that have already been prepared for it.
Take along some sausages to roast in your fire and you’re certain to have a great time! The beach is open all night and there are ramps in the water for you to enjoy your favorite watersports to the extreme too!
