About the hotel
This majestic medieval castle with a history dating back to the 10th century is situated on a hill overlooking the Rhine. Here you will find everything that belongs to a luxury castle vacation, antique furniture, beautiful artwork, patterned carpets, high wood paneling and golden chandeliers.
There are 27 rooms and suites, each individually decorated, the rooms have sumptuous four-poster beds, heavy drapes and ornate shelves. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace.
In the elegant restaurant you can dine and feast like royalty, in the restaurant regional dishes and local wines are served. On a beautiful summer’s day, sit on the large outdoor terrace with dramatic views of the Rhine. After dinner you can, for example, relax with a drink in the library or by the fireplace in the cozy lounge.
Look into the castle tower, where there is a museum telling the history of the castle. Enjoy the beautiful nature around the castle on bike tours and walks through the meadows, forests and vineyards in the area.
If you want big city experiences on holiday, the castle is not far from Koblenz, Mainz and Wiesbaden, for example.
